Mike thought back and wished he had put a ring on Margie’s finger almost 10 years ago! He knew. He knew when Margie knew the words to the song ‘Patches’ she might be the one. Margie and Mike {M&M} met through friends then but reconnected again in 2008 and have been inseparable since. He loves to make her laugh. She loves that he has a sense of humor. He kids, he loves, he adores her. So, December 31, 2009 came along and he was super anxious. He told Margie that 2010 is going to be BIG! Margie thought nothing more of it but she knew they had to get ready for some New Year’s Eve fun! They were going out with Mike’s brother and fiance’ but Margie left her cell phone at their home and had to go back to retrieve it. Mike went into one of the bedrooms and got her camera and wanted to take pictures. What? She thought.. there they were rushing to get back on the road and he wanted to take pictures?? Ok..ok…she said and there he was with a surprise in his hand. She stood (in awe) in front of a beautiful brilliant solitaire ring. She had no clue.
But, she was so happy, she said YES!
Margie and Mike have been excited and anxious about this special ‘engagement’ session day. She wanted magic… she wanted beauty. So, there’s no better place than her home ‘street’ early on a Sunday morning. The fog was just leaving the mountain. The sunshine was new. It was perfect. I had envision this shot for 2 years. I knew one day there would be someone special to photograph here… What would be better than to photograph LOVE, under the morning light.
What a beauty..
Dream a little dream…
Margie: Have you seen yourself lately? You just glow!
Love the morning light streaming through the trees.
Margie is gorgeous…yes, but Mike is pretty hot too!
As we wind up our sweet morning shoot, we stopped by the neighbor’s home and got this… How lovely : )
We met again for our evening shoot.. full of ideas and more love..
I had a few minutes to look around this ‘unexpected’ spot off of East Main Street and found this very interesting wall and a GREEN door! More like something you might find at a french countryside.. old, weathered, rustic. But, just so beautiful…
Here Margie again with one of her many ‘FAB’ shoes… gotta love her!
Uhh..purple and pink : )) My heart smiles.
If you know Mike, he enjoys the simple things.. like sharing a blizzard with no one else but .. Margie : )
Margie & Mike: Thank you so much for a fun day! You guys are awesome beyond words! I can’t wait for your fun OCTOBER wedding. I know you (Margie) will knock my stockings off! Love ya!
