Why I Love November

Some days, I can still wear a dress

Another reason to wear my head-dress. Still a ‘Why not!’

Other fall favorites:

Fun scarves and knee high socks.

Boots that keep my toes just toasty- enough

Hot chocolate days : ) with EXTRA mini mushmellows

 Happy weekend!

An Afternoon Tea

Tea?

Yes, Please. The Home & Garden Store recently put together a Christmas Tea at their store in Walkertown and it was a succcess! 25 ladies attended a 4 course authentic English tea hosted by Linda Butts, starting with a delightful Jasmine Pearl Tea served on beautiful antique china (tea cups and tea pots). Some over 100 years old!  The rest of the Menu are as follows:

First course: Squash soup (delightful!)

Second course: Sandwishes

Third course: Orange cream Scones with devonshire cream and lemon curd (Mmm…)

Fourth course: Stuffed strawberries, Texas sheetcake, lemon curd tart

Last but not least, homemade cookies in the shape of teacups and teapots.

Tracey Love the pic! Great work as always! God Bless

A different one

We recently took a trip to Cincinnatti and decided to visit the ‘Children’s Museum’ PLUS a ‘quick’ shopping trip : )) We asked the front desk at the hotel we were staying and was told that it was the ‘Creation Museum’. Hmmm…. sounds like something Catherine would enjoy. Kids-creation-fun? Well, we went on our way heading west and arrived extra early. It was Sunday, so we were there before 12:00pm. We walked around the grounds and enjoyed its beautiful gardens, ponds, man-made watergardens, petting zoo.. It was beautiful!

Wouldn’t this be a dreamy place for an outdoor wedding? And reception?
