The day started bright and early at the cabin, lakeside at a warm 80 deg F. For days leading up to this day, we prayed for a clear, sunny day as rain poured and flooded many areas in eastern Kentucky and this very lake. Fortunately, the sun and skies greeted us kindly and we knew it was going to be a great day.
We know we love shoes. Lace, beading and sparkly stones adorned this ivory, Alisa wedge by Betsey Johnson… acquired to match her gorgeous Sasha gown. A bit a romance, a bit of glamour.
A gown made for Victoria. Its classic, fit to flare line and stunning allover encrusted bodice, screamed romance to the nines. In person, it is breathtaking!

The final touch… fairy tale worthy cathedral length veil to compliment her divine Hayley Paige wedding gown.
Just across the street, Brice gets ready to marry the love of his life. Looking dapper in his dark grey suit and ivory/ pearl tie, he is eager to see his bride for the first time.
At the right time, the best man delivers a beautiful binder of love letters Victoria has written days leading to the wedding day.

The majestic Buckhorn Log Cathedral was completed in 1928, constructed of white oak from the surrounding mountains and recently underwent a major remodeling project. More on its history HERE.
The cathedral was described as somewhat medieval in appearance and Scandinavian in style.
The Hook and Hasting Organ, renovated in 1982, sits like a crowning jewel in this majestic building.
