Jeanie & Daniel

KISS ME

And your heart’s against my chest, your lips pressed to my neck
I’m falling for your eyes, but they don’t know me yet
And with a feeling I’ll forget, I’m in love now

~ Ed Sheeran

He couldn’t wait to see her come down the aisle. The most beautiful bride, Jeanie was. She sparkled in a mermaid style Lazaro gown and crystal laced cathedral length veil. Behind the scenes, she waited in anticipation with her dearest Mother, her most admired person in the world. Then, she smiled. Daniel waiting…. with the biggest smile.

Daniel is the kindest, sweetest man, with a big heart. His family and friends can attest to that.  Jeanie, shy but not always has indeed found her prince charming. Someone who will hold her hand and heart in good times and not so good times. He is good to her. And more.

Jeanie is beautiful, in her stilettos and Uggs. Fine silks and JCrew pajamas. Sparkly minis and skinny jeans. But, one thing’s for sure, she completes him. Mind, body, and heart. Completely. Yes, he is one lucky chap ; )

So much love.

Doug Smith Designs created Jeanie’s hand tied bouquet with blush pink and pale peach garden roses.

The girls sparkled in their fabulous heels by Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choos. Can I have a pair?

Daniel looking oh-so dapper and handsome in his classic black tux and bow tie.

I love Jeanie’s one of a kind BHLDN back drape necklace. It has the perfect amount of delicate sparkle.

A quick stop at Shakespeare and Co. The coolest vintage hang-out in downtown, Lexington.

The fabulous Spindletop Hall. One of my dream venues to photograph. See my first POST here.

Classic and romantic. The wedding cake was DIVINE.

Jeanie and her niece, in a beautiful flower girl dress by PEGEEN.

Daniel’s “aquatic” grooms cake by Martine’s Pastries. Looks great and taste h-e-a-v-e-n-l-y. We had an extra slice : )

A Cinderella moment.

It is PROOF

that a pair of shoes can change your life.

One of THE best looking bridal party to date. Champagne and gold ensemble, perfect for an elegant, great Gatsby-ish affair. I had to pinch myself…

Special THANKS to Doug, Glenn and their crew for this gold and lace opulent and glamorous affair. You cannot go wrong with lots of flowers, candles and gold accents.

This is one of the many MOST BEAUTIFUL weddings I’ve ever photographed!

FINALLY! I’m able to share it with you and the world : )
You can see their wedding FEATURE and their love story in the January/ February 2016 edition of Bridal Guide Magazine, in stands now!

Sarah & Alexander

You have bewitched me

body and soul.

— mr Darcy

Sarah caught a glimpse of him, the quiet man. Humble, perhaps thoughtful… she was smitten. He was not like any college student, Alexander was focused. After all, they were in dental school. Not a second to play or be foolish.

He noticed her as well. July 1st. He remembers the day like it’s just yesterday. A girl with the biggest..

sincerest smile. A warm hearted girl, who accepts him as he is. 4+ years ago. And today.

No doubt, they saw HEARTS in each other eyes, only a few weeks after that first day. They knew they have found their ‘one’.

One day in March, after hours, days, months and years of study time, datelines, and exams, Alexander {nervously} proposed. Their vacation a board a cruise ship on the eastern Caribbean was nothing short of amazing, she said. Nervousness and all.

It was perfect.

Sarah & Alexander: Wow! What can I say. You are two sizzling and kind-hearted souls. So much love. So honored. Thank you!

from my HAPPY heart 🙂

Kristen + Jonathan

From this day forward,

you shall not walk alone.

My heart will be your shelter,

and my arms will be your home.

Kristen and Jonathan’s day was nothing short of perfection. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the dress to the accessories. Kristen envisioned herself to be a classic, beautiful bride on her biggest day yet! Her gorgeous all lace Allure gown complimented her glittery, Kate Spade heels and matching clutch. Gotta love a girl who loves Kate Spade : )

Kristen gifted her girls these fun floral robes by Sandy Waters.

Classic bouquet and florals by Doug Smith Designs.

Does this mean GOLD rings are coming back into style?

Jonathan is no slouch. He chose blue suits with brown Cole Haan leather loafers for himself and his groomsmen. Gingham bowties and pocket squares added a touch of summer- breezy fun. These were definitely stylish, whimsy and classy at the same time. Oh, let’s not forget about those red, blue, and white socks!

Kristen’s hair and makeup guru: Allison with Pink Lou Lou.  Fab!

Married!

Kristen & Jonathan: Thank you so much for this great honor! Because of you, I get to do what I LOVE best- to document love. Lots of love.

Allie + John

I have found the one

whom my soul loves.

~ Song of Solomon 3:4

Love. Can you feel their young love? Allie and John are getting hitched after 8 years together! Same schools, circle of friends, and practically the same neighborhood, John couldn’t imagine life without Allie, he said. ” She has been my rock and been there for me through thick and thin.” Allie, must be pretty special. And so much more. Well, look at that smile?!

John’s proposal was well planned out. A birthday dinner, out of town…just an hour away. Allie went along with the spur of the moment trip. They stroll downtown Louisville, enjoying the sights and cool, urban bars and restaurants. To her delight, John reserved a carriage ride later that day… something she always wanted to do. All the while holding her birthday gift, a long rectangular box. Some jewelry maybe?! Little did she know, her night was slowly becoming a dream … John said, “Go ahead, open your gift.” While unwrapping her gift and all the anticipation, she didn’t realize he was down on his knee. Tears, nerves, sheer surprise… John proposed to the most beautiful girl in his world.

Congratulations Allie and John! It was so much fun documenting your love and spending time with you : ) Here’s to your beautiful garden wedding next June. Can’t wait!!
