Six plus years and counting. Paige and Casey took the plunge and said I DO at the beautiful Allandale Mansion in Tennessee. They wanted their day to be easy, stress-free and in a relaxed atmosphere with lots of flowers, soft colors and romance. Her effortless wedding hair-do by Michelle Breeden and makeup by Hannah Dorton completed her perfectly classy, yet understated wedding dress and veil. So beautifully romantic.

Need another reason to wear a veil? A memory like this.
All her favorite colors and blooms. Her heart is happy.
Their I DOs would not be the same without their nearest and dearest.
Paige’s dream of an outdoor wedding came through on this beautiful August day.

AUGUST
is like the
SUNDAY of SUMMER.
Just a week ago, I had the privilege of meeting and photographing a beautiful family from Ohio. We both travelled to meet in Lexington and there I met little MAIA. The pride and joy of Anh and Karl- a couple I ‘met’ while photographing Jeanie and Daniel’s wedding a year ago (tomorrow) : ) Little Maia is a bit over 8 months old here, full of life and has the chubbiest cheeks! Her big round eyes are the colors of deep grey and hazel. Of course, lips… of an angel. She is a beautiful mixture of both Anh’s vietnamese background and Karl’s Polish ancestry.

Elle’s gender neutral nursery:
Travel inspired with calm colors of soft grey and off-white. Ashley incorporated soft colors in the hot-air balloon mobile, inspirational prints and map and the softest bedding.
A couple of other unique elements completed this lovely nursery: a white ceramic hot air balloon coin bank and a vintage blanket from Spain.
