Wedding: Jessica + Daniel {Buckhorn Lake State Park}

THE day started early. The foggy mountains, the slight chill in the air, the quiet noise at the lake… it was wedding day! Jessica and Daniel met at this very lake and now to wed. Witnessed by 300+ of their dear family and friends, they wanted their wedding to be elegant and classy. They wanted something different and so ‘them’! They love the outdoors, so they got married on the beach (by the lake). Yes, she had her heels on walking down the aisle! No doubt Jessica is a classy but understated gal. She’s timeless and she wants a timeless feel to their wedding…

Jessica’s silk taffeta Allure gown is simply stunning! Classic and timeless. LOVE the rhinestone and beaded detailing and soft ruching.

Of course GORGEOUS makeup by Delena, Jessica’s mother. Red lips = hot!

Daniel looked like he just stepped out of GQ magazine! The tux fit him to a T!

Waiting for his bride… overlooking the ceremony site on the beach.

Jessica, you are simply beautiful ; )

Special thanks to the RIDDLE family for this amazing ‘prop’. It goes so well with their BLACK & WHITE elegant theme.

Their moment. ONE of the few reasons I love doing a FIRST LOOK!

Jessica’s grandfather, a person she admires most prepares to walk her down the pathway while her father awaits.

A surprise entrance by the groom. He decided to arrive by water less than 2 hours before the wedding!

The guests finally figures it out!

Pure happiness : )

Sneak peek: Jessica + Daniel

I can’t begin to say how lucky I am to be a part of this gorgeous wedding. When Jessica mentioned an antique car will be in the ‘picture’, my heart skipped a beat.

I know the newly minted Mr & Mrs are having a blast AND relaxing time in Antigua (Sandals Resort and Spa). Congratulations Jess & Daniel!

More images coming soon!!

Senior Highlight: Alexandra

What a gorgeous pre-fall SENIOR session! Alexandra or ALEX as her friends and family call her is loving SENIOR year so far! She simply can’t wait to experience what the coming year will bring. She is determined to have a great time creating THE best memories with her Hazard High School peers. She loves soccer, to read, dance and hang out with friends… in other words ‘party’. I guess after more than a decade in school, it’s about time she parties a little ; )But, Alex is a sweetheart. A sweet person inside and LOVED by many. You’ll see it here..

Special thanks to Bill & Betty Morton for allowing us to shoot at their farm, also known as the McIntosh-Roderick Farm in Leslie County. The farm is famously known and preserved as one of the ‘cultural resources worthy of preservation’ and you can find it listed at the National Register of Historic Places. It’s acres and acres of beautiful, pristine land and a couple of swinging bridges and log homes dating back to the 1800s. Definitely a treat. THANK YOU!

Anyway, here is Alex..

Alex, you are simply beautiful!

Love a girl who’s not afraid to show off her fun side ; )

Lovely dahlia blooms from Betty & Bill’s garden. The colors scream life and happiness.

When I saw Alex step out in these blush pink and black lace pumps, I was IN LOVE!

Alex says she can’t have too many ‘necklaces’.

For all the shoe lovers out there : ) Here’s another look..

Alex, THANK YOU for feasting our eyes and heart with these awesome pumps! I’d say every one of us need a ‘lace’ pair in our closet at least ONCE in our lifetime. You are truly beautiful inside AND out and I wish you the very best during your SENIOR year and years to come!

So many more lovely images of Alex coming soon : )

Happy Friday!!
