Cat is 9!
For this year’s birthday, we went with a ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ theme.. kid friendly of course! It all started with an inspiration from the movie.. the store, it’s signature aquamarine blue, some diamonds, pearls…
The planning started with a rough sketch of a simple 2 tiered cake. I wanted something classy and yummy at the same time.
As you can see below, THE cake was made possible by Teresa Caudill and I couldn’t be happier and pleased with the results! The signature Tiffany ring box, Audrey Hepburn’s orange cat in the movie, ‘pearls’ on the top tier and a creamy white ribbon to ‘tie’ everything together. Other neat additions include: milk & cookies, aquamarine bubble gum, matching napkins and candles, gloves, pearls and of course balloons!
{ A little Black Dress session }
A sure fire way of convincing Cat to do another shoot.. a balloon! An extra large one..
Have a..
and enjoy : ) The top tier was strawberry and bottom- chocolate. O.. so good.

Thanks Jaimeson for your kind comment! I had so much fun planning it and only wish I had more time to photograph the awesome- fun cake! I’d do it again : )
I am in absolute AWE … this is oh-so Tiffany! I LOVE everything about it and it makes me happy to think of throwing a similar party for my “tiffany” daughter one day {she is only 4, so I have a little while}. Very nicely done … absolutely love it!
WOW!!! This had to be Catherine’s best birthday EVER!! Cat is beautiful!! 🙂
A beautiful family..
Tis the season..

After a few days of feasting and being thankful, it’s time for another SENIOR SPOTLIGHT! Trevor, a senior at Hazard High School loves to travel, eat, dance and scuba dive (in no particular order). When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Pup and being on his computer.
With Pup- A loyal four legged friend.
Mr Cool…
His most treasured possession at the moment, his car!
See more of Trevor HERE .. his MUST SEE slideshow. He makes cool cooler!
Trevor: Thanks for being true to yourself, for your kindness, and I wish you the very best this year and many years to come.
* A thanksgiving treat *
A look at a super nice guy… Trevor
More to come : ) I promise!
Have a great one!
I can’t think of anything more perfect than this entire shoot. Besides the obvious, we had a good time hanging around one (50 sq. yard) area of the Knott County ATV Trails. The air was just crisp, the clear, clear sky and the warm glow of the setting sunset… and Jemma. I need not say more. You should’ve been there.
Jemma and I had looked forward to this shoot for weeks. Recently married, Jemma was all for a fun, no stress shoot to add to her collection of Wedding pictures. She loved the natural feel of the shoot, the location, and fact that we did not really have to look at our watches. The trails- peaceful and so beautiful.
Ahh…love
Jemma’s amazing dress by Allure…
Jemma, a makeup artist did her own makeup. No words can better describe her talent. WOW…
One of my absolute favorites..
At the end of our shoot…
SPECIAL THANKS:
Knott County ATV Trails, Kentucky
Allure wedding dress, Bridal Warehouse, Louisville, KY
THANKS SO MUCH to Jemma for all this loveliness… she made everything fall into place and did it so effortlessly. Is there another word for..
Perfection?

Oh…what darling rooms for precious girls, Cali and Lucy.
Heirloom crochet blanket … many many years old. But, still so beautiful.
A couple of Lucy’s favorite keepers..
I never waste a sunset moment. Even with temperatures falling below 50 deg F and everyone was hungry and done, I persuaded Cali to put on her favorite dress and head on out for a few more shots. It was worth it!
Ooooh.. This is meant for a HUGE panoramic canvas. Can’t get more beautiful than this! Cali is a ham and +! The family property afforded us numerous backgrounds for a variety of looks. From gravel driveways to large yards to old barns and tall grasses. I had a field day! If only there were more time and light…
A more playful side of Lucy- the sporty sis.

SO many THANKS to Danni & her family for inviting us to their ‘estate’ and for being so incredibly nice and warm to us… while we shoot, play and eat. Yes, Danni is a caterer and we were well fed. THANK YOU so much!
