Glorious sunshine and warm autumn colors… it is still here. I’ve had a few sessions at The HOME PLACE PARK throughout the year, but never during FALL. It is well worth it. Most everything has fallen but this tree is ‘shining’ it’s true colors, still. Just perfection : )
I had the privilege of doing a baby shoot for Brody and boy, was he a cutie! Calm and collected, he was a perfect angel throughout the shoot…
His own

Hi Chris. This is Brody’s aunt Megan. You done a wonderful job on these pictures. I really love them.

I love the pics.Thank you so much!!
When I met Holly, she was quiet and somewhat shy but always smiling. She volunteers at church selflessly and kids love her! When she made her SENIOR shoot appointment, I knew I had to know more of her. There must be something special about this girl. Indeed she is! She is smart, adventurous, and loves to travel. On a lighter note, she wishes she could sing, gets on Facebook when she’s bored and carries everything in her purse! Sounds like a well rounded girl! But, I was pleasantly surprised by her sense of style. Classy and so put together. I couldn’t ask for more. Her hair was perfect and she was totally comfortable with herself. In a way, she ‘bloomed’ that evening…
LOVE a girl who accessorizes!
What can I say? The image speaks for itself!
Classic beauty

Holly: Thank you so much for staying true to yourself AND bringing a little FIRE in you to the shoot. It makes for a more interesting and definitely more amazing shoot! You sizzle!! All the best!!

Thanks Chris! I really appreciate it (:
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. Good job Chris and good job Candy! She is beautiful on the inside as well.I’m proud to say she’s family!!1
These are amazing. My little girl is so beautiful!
Chris – You are an artist!
Minimalist. No regrets. Life loving. Just a few words to describe Morgan- a soon-to-be Hazard High School graduate and she is simply loving every minute of it! She laughs, cheers, sings, and absolutely treasures her family and friends. Yes, she is growing up. You see it in her today – truly beautiful and the camera loves her. Shy? She is not. Yes, she loves life but more importantly, HER life.
Being herself.
Purple is definitely IN! Thanks Morgan, for these cool shoes! I couldn’t stop smiling- inside : ) Hot! Hot! Hot!
What great style!
Glorious evening glow…
One of my favorite shots…
YES! She brought boots! What better time and season for cowboy boots : )
Special THANKS to Carol M. for allowing us photograph in her back yard. What gorgeous light!! Be sure to click HERE for more of Morgan. What a beauty she has become : ) Thanks Morgan… for being YOURself. YOUR style.
Autumn leaves, potted mums, nuts for the squirrels, the brisk air… it couldn’t get any better. Considering it is Margie’s favorite season and the day she marries her soul mate, Mike. After many Dairy Queen ice cream dates, dinners, and movies, October 16 is here! She started off the day with an early hair appointment with no delays (bonus!) then back home to meet her ‘girls’- all seven of them plus 2 flower girls. Gotta love them… they were there on time and ready to celebrate with the bride! In the mean time, some detail shots..
Margie’s dress by Allure was fitted, with taffeta sweetheart bodice, Swarovski brooch detail, and lace throughout the entire design. See HERE if you’ve missed Margie’s BRIDAL shoot.
Margie…STYLISH Margie, applies her wedding day makeup.
Plum details… are these the cutest?! I wish GAP made those ‘heart’ shoes in my size. 6.5 please.
Simply gold infinity earrings… a gift to the bridesmaids.
If plum is your NEW favorite color, you MUST own a pair now! These girls are so much fun!
As ready as can be..
I’ve mentioned FIRST LOOK before. So, when Margie & Mike opted to see each other before the ceremony, I couldn’t be happier! It was a special moment for JUST the two of them, no jitters, no cold feet. Just anticipation and excitement. It makes for a less stressful day overall.
Waiting for his bride…
How gorgeous is the back lighting on Margie’s mantilla veil? Simply beautiful : )
LOVE them for allowing me plenty of time to snap their COUPLE pictures! See.. no rush here.
A perfect day for a wedding
On the RIGHT, their custom designed GUEST Photo sign-in book. Replacing the traditional store bought guest book that usually gets tucked away in the closet somewhere. With this, it’s doubles as a coffee table book with photos and memories of their loved ones at their wedding.
My special second shooter Cat captured this as Margie and her Dad enters the church.
Is Margie happy or what? A 270+ guest list… all so happy to see the happy bride.
Mr & Mrs!!
Yes, I had one of these and it was delicious!

How time flies. A 10 month planning came and went and Margie & Mike is now happily married. Mike said to Margie on New Years Eve that 2010 was going to be a BIG year. Indeed it was. They got married, Mike just started a great new job and they are in the process on remodeling a home together. The next big thing….?
Margie and Mike: I wish you so much love, happiness, and prosperity for many years to come. It has been a pleasure being a part of your ‘family’ in all of this and truly, I couldn’t be happier for you : ) Love ya!

Christine, I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism, kindness, patience, hard-work, and (most of all) your talent for taking the most amazing photos! You have preserved our most important day in style and class, and we were so blessed to have you be a part of our special day! Forever we will have these captured memories, and thanks to you, we can relive our wedding day over and over by just looking at your masterpieces! You are going places, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for you! Thanks to you and Cat, our day was even more special!!
These are simply the best! Truely a moment caught in time. Just like the song. This will be an everlasting love. Great wedding! Great pictures! The fun has just began. Congrats to you Margie and Mike.
Mike and Margie’s Wedding pics and slideshow was GREAT!!!
Plum purple + ruffles + mantilla veil + gorgeous bride and groom = one very good day.
Timing is everything as they day. October 16th was decided long time ago for Margie and Mike to tie the knot but who would have thought it would be beautiful and the autumn season at its peak? Well, maybe a little prayer, a sprinkle of hope, and definitely a ton of ‘please’ to the wedding angels.
It was meant to be : )
There are so many images to feature as a SNEAK PEEK but I especially love this one because… for a split moment Mike and Margie forgot I was I was there : )
Enjoy and check back soon for their wedding!
Congratulations Margie & Mike!
