Love the antique-ness of this photo! My heart sings!! đ
For awesome couples : )
First look: Gasp!
So nice, you WANT to feel the ‘letters’… over and over again.
So proud, you WANT to show it off… yes, over and over again (with gloves of course) and a smile : )
So so lovely, you’ll remember each moment … time and again.

Hi Chris–loved meeting you today and viewing your work and now your blog–even love your business cards—such quality and beauty captured by what you do. I mentioned to you that we do a visual arts program with the schools. If you ever thought you would like to participate we’d love to have you involved. Best of luck with your baby. Richard
A ball brought them together. A soccer ball that is. Vanessa and Kyle met in in the ‘stands’ so to speak. Kyle was invited by a mutual friend, Andrew to come along to watch a game and there he met Vanessa. She thought he was cute and he thought she was pretty. That’s how it all started… like many relationships. They soon became good friends and it blossomed from there. They shared a common love for the sport and ultimately for each other. That was almost 4 years ago.
It was Mother’s day last year, when Vanessa was pleasantly surprised. Kyle had asked Nehemiah, their son if he should proposed. Nehemiah, then just an infant babbled what sounded like a YES. (I bet he was smiling too!) Kyle went to the car and retrieved a special box and when Vanessa turned around, Kyle proposed. She couldn’t be happier and I bet she was giggly like she was here….
Little Nehemiah- their pride and JOY.
A glow like no other..
See more of Vanessa & Kyle HERE and kindly leave a warm blog love for them or least for little Nehemiah : )
Vanessa & Kyle: Thank you so much for sharing your LOVE with me, the camera and the world. Your fall wedding will be intimately wonderful and I just can’t wait! All the best and love love love!
Special THANKS to Kayla Combs (MAC) for Vanessa’s gorgeous Engagement look and Keeneland for THE perfect place to fall in love again ; )

AWESOME is the word to describe Kayla! I’ve admired her work in previous months and finally got to see her work in person. Kayla, a MAC artist is an East Kentucky native working at the MAC counter at Macy’s, Lexington. She’s hip, fun, stylish, and definitely talented! She makes anyone look like a runway model and most importantly she LOVES it! I was excited to see she was on ‘duty’ this past Sunday for Vanessa’s MAKEOVER. Vanessa, my November bride has agreed to go along with me for a FUN makeover, especially for her Engagement shoot. What better time and occasion for a new look?! Vanessa wears very little makeup normally but she needed something WOW for the shoot and ultimately her BRIDAL look. I snapped a few shots while Kayla did her magic…
Special thanks to KAYLA and MAC for a FUN afternoon. I will be back for a ‘makeover’… just for fun : )
p.s. Contact Kayla to schedule an amazing MAKEOVER at the MAC counter or for a private assignment. You’ll LOVE her!
