Another fine week it was : ) Cool mornings, warm afternoons, uncut grass… perfect everything! It’s the time of year to see beauty in everything- fresh tulips, clover… and don’t forget the dandelions! They greet us no matter what- rain or shine. Last wednesday, I met a young lady who’s been ‘dreaming’ of this day for almost a year. Her senior pictures! Ashley is not only sweet but a smart cookie! With hopes to pursue Dentistry in the near future and taking college classes this SUMMER, she leaves no stone unturned. Determined and focused, she intends to excel. AND what a beauty she is! With a new shorter hairdo, sleek and perfect she turns heads no matter where she goes. Well, you be the judge…

Senior Spotlight: Candice (Perry Central High School)

Just a few more weeks to Graduation! Not only is Candice looking forward to that ‘Cap and Gown’ day but she is also looking forward to starting a new chapter of her life at Pikeville College this Fall. Her dream is to become a Physician’s Assistant. However, she can’t help but feel a little nostalgic about ACTUALLY finishing high school and leaving a life that was hers for so many years. A great gal AND this year’s Homecoming Queen, she is also an awesome soccer player! No doubt she will hit the books in College but I’m sure she’ll be playing a few games as well! She is the sweetest and what a great person to photograph! Take a look at a few featured here. I’m positive you’d agree she is stunning!

Is it a coincidence that all my clients are nice? As I venture further into my ‘dream’ and continue to learn and be comfortable in my own skin, I can conclude that I’m the luckiest gal in the world! I have the privilege of photographing beautiful (and handsome) subjects and if they are nice too, well that’s a bonus! I can recall so many times in my other careers and situations that some people are just not very nice. Sometimes, they are nice but really, not so nice (behind your back) after all. Can you relate? Well, this past weekend I had the honor of photographing a beautiful high school SENIOR with big dreams and aspirations. And she is nice! Behind the scenes: Keeneland

Last Saturday was my first time at Keeneland. I’ve heard great things about it from friends and knew I just had to have a session there someday. Well, Casey and Josh was getting married soon and they both live in Lexington, so why not? We prayed for clear weather all week and yes, the sun LOVES us! Here are a few Behind-the-Scenes images that Cat took that day. She tagged along hoping to see some horses at the park and her only job was to take some ‘action’ shots. You know, I was curious! I’ve always wondered what I look like while ‘working’. Here I am getting low for a quick shot.

Yes, I was wearing a spring dress. I couldn’t wait for Easter : ) Looking back, I should have worn some matching gloves.

Babe: Addi First Birthday (Part 1)

More than a year ago, Addi was in the ‘picture’. She said SURPRISE! She was bringing joy and excitement to this already large family (for today’s norm). More than anything, she’s been a blessing many times over and was born with perfect health. Look at her today! All cute and cuddly! She loves the outdoors and can’t wait to sit on the swing and play in Lacyn’s playhouse. More adventures coming soon! Here are a few captured on her first birthday…
