Young love is exactly what Alyssa and Michael had. Alyssa knew she would marry Michael when she ‘grew’ up. At 16, she had found her ‘forever’. Like a storybook, their lives and love grew. Through high school, then college and after undergraduate college, they always knew they were meant to be. After months of traveling back and forth from Lexington to Paintsville (and vice versa), they said those simple words, I DO. Smiling from ear to ear, they couldn’t wait another day to start their lives together.

Alyssa and Michael had originally planned on seeing each other at the church. But instead, they chose to meet at the Mayo Mansion prior to the ceremony : ) I’m so glad they did… if not, these memories would not have been captured.
