Big city wedding it was not. Brittany have always dreamt of living on a farm, owning any animal she desired. That plan might be on the back burner a few more years, but she knew she could have her dream wedding back home on a beautiful farm. For months, they planned their ‘long distance’ wedding all the way from California, their current home. They shopped, packaged and shipped bottles, quilts, etc. back to Kentucky … all the while keeping to their big plan of a laid back vintage wedding. Most of the vintage items were thrifted from yard sales, thrift stores and auctions, while others borrowed with love from friends of the family. They wanted a very unfussy wedding where her guest would not feel out of place. And because they both love the outdoors, it was just fitting that they have a semi outdoor wedding in a barn, complete with hay, wood fences, cattle in a distance and most importantly, unconditional love.
Brittany planned the wedding with ideas from nature and of course with the help of PINTEREST! Many of the personal items were hand made, painted, cut… the list goes on. Her bridesmaids chose their own dresses with blush pink colors in mind. Classic but hip brown cowboy boots complimented their laid back flowy dresses. LOVE them!
The guys on the other hand, wore white shirts with light tan pants PLUS bowties and suspenders for a bit of fun and charm. Coordinating dark grey Ralph Lauren socks completed their fun look!
